Enjoying a nature outing with the Migration & Me program.
Migration and Me
Human beings, monarch butterflies, migratory birds, and other migrating species all seek welcoming places to eat, rest, and live along the migration journey and at the destination.
By connecting migration stories and spending time learning about the natural world, the Migration and Me program inspires to care for the Earth and build community, making us more resilient to the impacts of climate change.
The Migration & Me Program was a recipient of a 2017 Force of Nature Award given by Chicago Wilderness. Learn more below.

Nature Gardens

Faith in Place Nature Outings allow me to discover our natural areas in the south side! Learning and connecting with my family, friends, and others who share my concern to the Earth has permitted me to take ownership of our local forest preserves. Now I know I have the power to heal and restore; through habitat restoration we can bring back native birds, butterflies, and plants. Change is possible!
