Voting in Indiana
Register to Vote:
Voter Registration Ends: October 11, 2022*
*The Registration Deadline is the voter registration office’s close of business for a voter to apply to register or transfer registration or at midnight for a voter to complete and submit a voter registration application online.
What you need to register:

Have a valid Indiana Driver's License or Indiana State Identification Card.

Be a citizen of the United States.

Be at least 18 years old on or before the next general, municipal or special election. (A 17-year-old may register and vote in the primary election if the voter turns 18 on or before the next general or municipal election.)

Have lived in your precinct for at least 30 DAYS before the next general, municipal, or special election.
-
Not currently imprisoned after being convicted of a crime.

Absentee Voting by Mail:
Deadline to Apply for Absentee Ballots: October 27

What you need to apply for an absentee ballot:

The county or the state must have the application in their possession by the deadline of October 27, 2022; any application received after this deadline – even if it’s postmarked before the deadline – cannot be processed.
To Return an Absentee Ballot:

The county or the state must have the ballot in their possession by November 8 at 6:00 pm; any ballot received after this deadline – even if it’s postmarked before the deadline – cannot be considered timely.

Absentee Voting In-Person ("Early Voting"):
Polls are Open from October 27 to November 7, 2022
To Vote Absentee In Person:

Visit indianavoters.com to view your county’s absentee-in-person or “early voting” dates, times, and locations. Click on "Voting Location" and enter your information to find your polling location, including locations for early voting. Please note: this information will be available closer to the election.
Voting In Person on Election Day
Polls open on November 8 from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm
Photo ID Law:

Indiana residents have to present a government-issued photo ID at the polls on election day (Indiana driver's license, Indiana photo ID card, Military ID or U.S. Passport sufficient in most cases).

Provisional Ballots:

If you are unable or unwilling to present ID meeting these requirements, you may cast a provisional ballot. If you cast a provisional ballot, you have until noon 10 days after the election to follow up with the county election board and either provide the necessary documentation or affirm one of the law’s exemptions applies to you.
Voting in Illinois
Register to Vote:
Deadline to Register by mail or in person: October 22, 2022
Deadline to Register Online: October 23
What you need to register:​

Be a citizen of the United States

Be a resident of Illinois and of your election precinct at least 30 days before the next election

Be 18 years old to vote in a General Election or 17 years old to vote in a primary election if you will be 18 by the time of the General Election

Cannot be serving a sentence of confinement in any penal institution as a result of conviction of any crime
-
Not claim the right to vote anywhere else

Voting in Wisconsin
Register to Vote:
Deadline to Register By Mail or Online: October 19
Deadline to Register in person: November 4
What you need to register:​

Be a citizen of the United States

Be a resident of Wisconsin. It takes 28 days to establish residency in Wisconsin.

Be 18 years or older.​

You are not eligible to vote in Wisconsin if you have been convicted of a felony and you are currently serving any portion of your sentence (including extended supervision, probation, or parole, also known as being “on paper”).

Once you successfully complete your sentence and are no longer under the supervision of the Department of Corrections (“off paper”) your voting rights are restored, and you regain your eligibility to vote. You must re-register to vote.

If you are in jail serving a misdemeanor sentence or awaiting trial, you are still eligible to vote—usually by absentee ballot.
