Join Faith in Place for a Virtual Story Circle featuring Otis Green Freeman! Otis Green Freeman aka 'Big O' will be sharing his story of migrating from his childhood home in Holly Springs, Mississippi where he was born in 1933 to Chicago, Illinois. Mr. Freeman will share stories of his childhood and how his family owned a lot of land but had little money. Yet, they had enough to eat as they raised everything. Brother Freeman proudly recalls ‘not having to work for no white man! WE HAD OUR OWN LAND! Mr. Freeman will also share the work he did we came to Chicago and how he mentored the men in his neighborhood. We look forward to hearing his story!
