About the event
Juneteenth is the oldest national holiday celebrating the end of slavery in the United States. We invite you to celebrate with us on June 22nd at 5pm CT for the second webinar in our Growing Your Garden Series: A Juneteenth Celebration. During this hour, we will walk together through a garden labyrinth at Trinity United Church of Christ, see the ways Windsor Park Evangelical Lutheran Church has welcomed in its community to create an urban gardening haven, and celebrate ways black farmers and gardeners connect their communities to urban farming, nutritious food, and more.
