Faith in Place Farmers Market Now Accept Illinois Link Cards

The Calumet Stewardship Initiative is proud to announce a five-part volunteer workday leader training course for 2012. EPA Announces new mercury rule
The EPA announced new mercury and toxic limits for stationary sources of pollution yesterday (power plants). These long-awaited rules were the subject of a hearing in Chicago last May, at which a number of Faith in Place/Illinois Interfaith Power & Light friends testified. Congratulations to everyone who came to the hearing, testified, sent in post cards, and supported the release of these regulations by the EPA.
