The EPA announced new mercury and toxic limits for stationary sources of pollution yesterday (power plants). These long-awaited rules were the subject of a hearing in Chicago last May, at which a number of Faith in Place/Illinois Interfaith Power & Light friends testified. Congratulations to everyone who came to the hearing, testified, sent in post cards, and supported the release of these regulations by the EPA.
