what′s new : Time for Springfield Again! - February 24, 2010
Faith in Place is getting ready for our annual Springfield Day, part of the Illinois Environmental Council Environmental Lobby Day. We're pushing for the package of solar bills called RENEW (and you can read more about them in the fact sheets on our events page abour Lobby Day). If you can't go to Springfield we now have the text ready for postcards. You can download them from our events page, or let us know that you want us to make you some and we will. Collect signatures at your coffee hour (isn't that the unifying theology of all faiths?) and get them back to us for delivery either when we head to Springfield or after but still during the General Assembly Session. We think the miserable state of the Illinois budget is going to take up a lot of the head space in this session so we need to move fast on the solar package to make progress.
