what′s new : Clean Power Coalition Victory! - March 1, 2012
Congratulations to everyone who worked on the Clean Power Coalition's campaign to put an end to the pollution from Chicago's two coal-fired power plants! Midwest Generations, the company that owns Fisk and Crawford Generating Stations in Pilsen and Little Village, announced yesterday that they will close the plants in 2012 and 2014. Faith in Place is proud to be a member of the Clean Power Coalition's coordinating committee.
